By The momentum to meet with fellow lecturers from all over Indonesia is important for lecturers. The main goal is to evaluate performance as lecturers, especially in the fields of research and community service. This meeting is more meaningful because it is a forum for vocational lecturers who have successfully obtained grant funds for research and/or community service. These lecturers have successfully competed, so that grant providers are confident in providing support to them.
Meeting and learning with the discussants appointed by the Director General of Vocational Studies is a very memorable experience. Most of them are professors who have a lot of experience in research and community service. A seminar forum with results like this can be used as a place to evaluate lecturer performance, so that in the future they can continue to develop and become better.
In each presentation group, there are various research or community service schemes. There are lecturers who are still at the beginner level, intermediate, to those who are already at the top level. Thus, this seminar motivates lecturers to share experiences with each other for self-development in order to become better lecturers.
